THERE were plenty of smiles a few tears as students from across Casey headed back to school this week.
Many youngsters experienced their first day in prep, while many teenagers were thrilled they have reached their final year.
Many classes in schools across Casey started on Wednesday, with others to start today (Thursday).
Fountain Gate Primary School was one of the schools to open their doors to students in Grades 1 to 6 yesterday.
