Paul Harris honour

THE Rotary Club of Endeavour Hills has recognised the hard work and effort of a number of its members – presenting them with Paul Harris awards.
A Paul Harris Fellowship Award is the highest honour which a Rotarian can receive, one which each of these women rightfully earned through their volunteering efforts.
Each of them were heavily involved in the original setting up of Shelter Box Australia, a private U.K. project in 2003.
After this, the women, with the help of their husbands, then went on to start Disaster Aid Australia – an Australian project and initiative of the club.
The women have paid their way around Australia, setting up displays at functions to promote the club’s project.
City of Casey mayor Amanda Stapledon attended the ceremony and helped in the presentation of the awards.
