THRILLS, spills, animals and attractions garnered plenty of attention at the Berwick Show on the weekend.
Thousands of people took advantage of the warm weather to take in the agricultural exhibits, attractions and carnival rides at Akoonah Park.
Berwick Show Society president John Betts said it was one of the best attended shows in recent years.
“It was one of best weekends we’ve had in a long time,” he said.
“It was a really good show, and even with the weather being a little hot, people hung around all day.”
“The attractions we had were good and it kept everyone on their toes.”
City of Casey mayor Amanda Stapledon said people came to the show from all over Victoria as well as South Australia and New South Wales.
“There is such a wonderful range of livestock and this year is no exception,” Cr Stapledon said.
“It just makes the area come alive.”
