Locks lopped for a cause

A TEACHER and four students braved the shaver last week to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation
Teacher Emily Wood, took part in the World’s Greatest Shave in front of their colleagues and fellow students on Friday,
Ms Wood had been counting down days until the big shave and encouraged others to join the cause.
Teachers and students strongly supported the cause, raising about $1500, but only a brave few were willing to shave their heads for the foundation.
Year 11 student Brad, Year 7 students Jordan and Year 10 students Brent and Connor all showed their support by shaving their hair.
Connor had been growing his hair since Grade 3 and lost all his locks in a matter of 10 minutes. Ms Wood said she was grateful for all the support they received from the school community.
