New book is hot and happening

LEANNE Sklavenitis has been changing lives since she was 24 years old.
The personal trainer and fitness advisor has always loved helping others, and is determined to continue doing so.
“When I started in the industry I saw the effect you can have on people’s lives,” Leanne said.
The well accomplished fitness instructor slowly grew addicted to this feeling and has run several seminars throughout her career.
“I’ve been to various bridal expos, and speak quite a bit at virtual assistance conferences,” she said.
Leanne was also at a festival earlier this year called the Girls Only Festival.
It was there that the Berwick resident released her first book.
The book, Are You Ready for a Hot Body? includes tips and ideas about exercise and nutrition, as well as week by week plan, plus a checklist.
Leanne is hopeful this book will help those who want to change their lifestyle to keep on track.
In a society that is slowly becoming more obese, Leanne is confident she can make a difference.
“It’s about changing lives and making small steps,” she said.
“I want to make it fun and help people take it step by step.”
Leanne is often working throughout the south-east suburbs and is excited about an upcoming workshop at the Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre.
“I will be at the Endeavour Hills YMCA running information session based around my book,” she said.
In a addition, Leanne is also in the process of putting together a workshop for teenagers which will include information for the youths about how to take care of themselves.
The personal trainer is passionate about proving to the community that anybody can change their lifestyle, and it doesn’t have to be a hard, gruelling task.
