A NARRE Warren family was left shaken on Friday, after a car travelling along James Bathe Way ploughed into the side of their home.
At 8.50pm on Friday 19 April, a woman lost control of her car, running over the garden bed and smashing into the front of the Narre Warren house.
According to firefighter Paul Little from Narre Warren Fire Brigade, there were no injuries, but a number of people were shaken by the accident.
There was only one occupant in the car, however it is believed there were up to four people in the house at the time.
Member of Casey Highway patrol Senior Constable Toladay said the accident was not investigated by the police as the two parties were amicably resolving the matter.
The car was removed from the property by the SES and occupants of the house were relocated for the night.
Mr Little said it was a lucky escape for all involved.
“It was very lucky that nobody was injured,” he said.
