Salute to the past and present

STUDENTS at Fountain Gate Secondary College honoured past and present soldiers at a special Anzac Day service yesterday (Wednesday).
The event was held in the morning and attended by students, staff, parents, ex-servicemen and politicians.
There was a long list of special guests including New Zealand Consul-General Daniel Taylor, the President of the Korea Veterens Association of Australia Vic Dey, Holt MP Anthony Byrne, Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley, City of Casey Mayor Amanda Stapledon, Australian Navy Cadets from Hampton Park Secondary College and several others.
Vicki Walters welcomed the crowd and students and staff, as well as special guests, helped to host the ceremony.
The Anzac Day event was the 12th annual ceremony to be held at Fountain Gate Secondary College.
