Fun’s the focus of school activities

THERE were several activities to get students moving, laughing and focussed on learning at Berwick Chase Primary School.
Students were entertained by the Alpha Show on 23 April. The Alpha Shows is a theatre company which has been entertaining at the school for several years.
On 24 April, students were entertained by a unique version of the Disney hit Aladdin. The show was a musical rock concert, which focussed on learning the skills needed to achieve your dreams.
Yesterday (Wednesday) students got active, had fun and took part in some friendly competition at the Berwick Chase Primary School annual Cross Country Fun Run.
The event was part of the school’s Physical Education program, and was aimed at encouraging students to be physically active and have fun running alongside their classmates.
PE teacher Glenn Shaw organised the event and students were encouraged to take part to have fun rather than to compete, however, students who ran the fastest times were asked to represent Berwick Chase Primary School in the annual interschool cross country.
Mr Shaw said the fun run was for all year levels from Prep to Grade 6 and was an exciting and fun day for all involved.
