Kevin helps out at office opening

HOLT MP Anthony Byrne has a swish new office after it was officially opened yesterday (Wednesday) after being refurbished.
Former Labor leader and Griffith MP Kevin Rudd was on hand for the celebration at Fountain Gate.
Mr Byrne said his office has benefitted from significant redevelopments and improvements to benefit the community.
“Over the last few months our office has undergone a refurbishment to ensure it remains a vital community hub for local residents,” he said.
“We have improved the access to the entry area of the electorate office and made it easier for people experiencing a disability to receive assistance.”
My Byrne also thanked Mr Rudd for opening the doors with him.
“I wish to thank Kevin for his support on coming down today for this opening, and I wish to specially thank all my staff for their tireless work, and for their ongoing commitment to assist me with helping to solve people’s problems in the local community,” said Mr Byrne.
My Byrne said he and Mr Rudd will continue to work hard for the community.
“The voices of people living in the outer suburbs are important and Kevin and I will continue to stand up to defend their interests and demand better services,” the MP said.
He said his office provides an invaluable service for local residents of Holt where people can visit to seek assistance with problems they may encounter when dealing with federal agencies and departments.
Anyone from his electorate who requires assistance can visit Anthony Byrne’s office between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
