SEVERAL students from Backstage Dance Studio in Narre Warren experienced great success earlier this year.
In preparation for a competition in May, students travelled to the Moe Dance Eisteddford which ran during the last school holidays.
Director of the dance studio Jessica Solomon was extremely proud of her students’ efforts, mentioning that for some of them, this was their first time on the stage.
“It is a really great success,” said Jessica.
Girls which received awards included Olivia Acciarito, Layla Webster, Ella Wright-Wood, Mikayla Williams and Tahlia Gerosa.
The school has also announced that one of the teachers from Backstage Dance Studio got the chance to dance for well-known singer Olly Murs at the Logies earlier this year.
