Author shares an inspiring story

AN Inspiration author who is a parent of a Berwick Fields Primary School student shared her story this week.
Karina Carrel recently published a book Liberation: Breaking the Chains to Survival and Freedom and spoke to students and teachers on Tuesday to inspire them through her battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The book details how she broke through the chains of cancer, the obstacles she had to face and the love and strength her family gave her to face the battle.
Ms Carrel has started work on her second book which will focus on the abuse she went through as a child.
