A FIRECRACKER exploded after it was placed in a Berwick letterbox on the weekend.
Police said at 1.30am on Saturday 28 July, a firecracker was placed inside a metallic letterbox along Soldiers Road, causing an explosion and damage to the letterbox.
A silver VX Holden Commodore, with blue lights on the rear number plate, was seen driving from the scene, police said.
