Top model a jewel

HEADS were well and truly turning at Westfield Fountain Gate last week when model Jesinta Campbell stopped by to help customers pick out their jewellery.
The former Miss Universe Australia and Gold Coast native visited the Michael Hill Fountain Gate store as part of the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty, an initiative where shoppers are treated to an exciting line-up of beauty events, fashion shows and competitions throughout the month of September.
Ms Campbell, a local ambassador for the initiative, was joined by Shop Til You Drop magazine’s fashion director Jesse Hart last Thursday to treat Michael Hill shoppers with an array of tips and advice on what jewellery to wear, while also alerting them to the latest trends.
Before the shopping began, Ms Campbell was introduced to customers with a formal presentation where she spoke about her career to date and her whirlwind journey to fame at just 22 years of age.
Ms Campbell said that while her modelling career meant there were a lot of early morning starts, it was definitely worth it.
As well as Fountain Gate, Ms Campbell has been bringing the Girl’s Night Out events to a range of areas across Australia including Chatswood Sydney and Queens Plaza in Brisbane. Michael Hill also held an exclusive weekend runaway show at the Town Hall, showcasing more of the newest jewellery trends.
UK model Georgia May Jagger is also an ambassador for the 30 Days initiative.
