Terry (Tear Off a Strip, Socially Speaking, News 7 November) needs to read page 4 of the Casey Road Management Plan (V4.1).
This states in respect of nature strips “nature strips in urban areas are the responsibility of the neighbouring landowner to maintain”.
He may not agree with the law but to assert that it is not the property owner’s responsibility is to mislead readers, to their possible cost.
