Police strike copper

COPPER wiring was found in an Endeavour Hills yard on Friday following the execution of a search warrant by the Casey CIU Burglary Crew.
Investigators found the copper wiring in the rear yard of an Endeavour Hill address as part of Operation MACRUROUS. Additional copper was also located in the boot of a vehicle parked in the driveway.
Detectives have called on persons or business in the Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong areas that have recently had copper stolen to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Mick Harris, of the Casey CIU Burglary Crew, on 9709 7656.
