NARRE Warren support service Windermere has received a $15,500 boost.
Prestige Hino presented a cheque to Windermere Child and Family Services this month, the result of the Dandenong company’s annual golf day at Sandhurst Golf Club on 18 October.
Prestige Hino dealer principle Anthony Long was thrilled with the result.
“We have been very proud supporters of Windermere for the last five years, and each year the golf day grows and so does the amount raised,” he said.
“The day involves a lot of our local suppliers.
“It is very pleasing that we are able to embrace the community, give something back and contribute to helping more individuals and families in our own backyards.”
Windermere CEO Dr Lynette Buoy said the generosity would help Windermere continue to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in the community.
“This support contributes towards important initiatives and delivering much-needed services, especially with Christmas right around the corner,” she said.
Windermere has provided help and resources to help people live to their full potential for more than 150 years, including counselling, housing support, disability services, childcare and more.
