Pair rescue woman from attacker

TWO good Samaritans pulled a man from a car during an alleged assault in Dandenong on Friday.
A woman had just parked her car in David Street, opposite Dandenong Hospital, about noon on 13 December when a Doveton man, 36, approached.
Detectives allege he assaulted her and appeared to be trying to get into her black Volvo wagon.
They want to speak with the men who pulled the attacker from the vehicle and held him, with help from hospital security, until police arrived and arrested him. He’s now receiving hospital treatment.
