High drama on Cook Drive

By BRIDGET COOK

IT was a dramatic scene in Endeavour Hills last week after a driver took out a fire hydrant, light pole and trees.
Police said an Endeavour Hills woman, in her forties, was driving along James Cook Drive about 3.30pm on Tuesday 7 January when the collision occurred.
The woman failed to negotiate a left bend in the road and struck a fire hydrant, light pole and trees, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was conveyed to the Dandenong Hospital for observation.
Police are still investigating the incident.
