Last year Endeavour Hills celebrated its 40th birthday, yet the suburb featured prominently in your edition The Year That Was 2013 for all the wrong reasons.
Your feature highlighted two tragic incidents that had both received wide media coverage.
Not so well publicised is the out-of-control hoon problem, which makes me wonder whether our part-time police station is sufficiently resourced to tackle the issues of community safety and law and order.
Can we please see some positives this year.
After all, Endeavour Hills is the place I chose to call home over 30 years ago.
