AN ENDEAVOUR Hills man was caught in a slippery situation when he drove off the road and crashed into a grass embankment on Friday.
The driver, who wanted to remain anonymous, lost control of his green Mercedes Benz at the intersection of Heatherton Road and Hanna Drive in Endeavour Hills.
Friday saw the first decent downpour of rain since the state’s hot spell a week earlier.
Narre Warren police attended the scene and the vehicle was towed away.
The driver did not sustain any injuries.
Narre Warren police Acting Sergeant Jacqui Henriksen said drivers needed to be aware of road conditions at all times.
“Especially at the moment, when the weather is changing at this time of year,” she said.
