Bike rider seriously injured

POLICE have put a call out for any witnesses to a crash on Hallam-Belgrave Road in Hallam on Saturday which left a 41-year-old motorbike rider seriously injured.
He was reportedly riding his green Harley Davidson toward the Princes Highway near the Hallam CFA station about 2.40pm when it collided with a gold Toyota sedan.
The bike rider, from Belgrave Heights, was taken to The Alfred hospital for treatment.
The driver of the sedan, a 49-year-old man from Hallam was interviewed by police and released pending summons.
Other vehicles were in the vicinity at the time and police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.
