Family touch to fast-food outlet

Licensees Jenny and Ian Seal (the performing Seals?) celebrate the opening of their new Cranbourne North McDonald's restaurant.

MCDONALD’S has opened the first of its kind concept store in Cranbourne North, designed for families.
The Narre Warren Cranbourne Road franchise, which has created 120 jobs for the local community, had an official opening on Saturday 15 February.
The restaurant is the first ‘Family Concept Restaurant’ trialled by McDonald’s in Australia.
From digital play screens, to a redeveloped playland area and increased family amenities, the restaurant is designed to make a better dining experience for families.
Local McDonald’s licensee Ian Seal said he was excited to see the community reaction to the new restaurant.
“The Cranbourne and Casey area was carefully selected as the location for this new restaurant,” he said.
“As one of the best areas in Melbourne to raise a family, there was no better location to trial this new concept,” he said.
The restaurant also created a number of casual, part-time and full time positions in the local area.
“We often provide local residents with their first job and we consider it a great privilege, but also a great responsibility,” Mr Seal said.
