Appeal for missing man

Police are concerned for the well-being of Doveton man Thayapran Kanapathippillai who has gone missing again.

A DOVETON man who is known to go wandering and who doesn’t speak at all has gone missing again.
Police are appealing for public assistance to find 29-year-old Thayapran Kanapathippillai who suffers from a medical condition and was last seen about 3.30pm yesterday at a property in Cherry Grove, Doveton.
Mr Kanapathippillai was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt and blue tracksuit pants with two white stripes on each leg.
He is of Sri Lankan descent, roughly 172cm tall, with a medium build and short black hair.
According to police, Mr Kanapathippillai prefers to walk rather than catch public transport. He has previously been found in the Dandenong and Berwick areas and is capable of walking a long way.
Police are concerned for the man’s welfare and have released a photo of Mr Kanapathippillai.
Anyone who sees him is urged to phone triple zero (000) immediately.
