LEGAL studies students from Fountain Gate Secondary College were given a glimpse into their potential future careers when they staged a mock murder trial at the school last week.
The trial was organised by legal studies teacher Suzanna Nikolovski with both year 11 classes participating in the event.
Pupils played the roles of witnesses and jurors in the mock trial, working in groups for two weeks to prepare their evidence, and they were also required to dress the part.
Casey councillor Rafal Kaplon, who is currently undertaking a teaching round at the school, played a key role in helping to construct the background information for the mock trial.
