Police make break-in link

TWO Hampton Park break-ins, which occurred within a month of each other, are linked, police say.
On Thursday 14 May a male intruder broke into a house in Pound Road at roughly 10am, and was believed to be accompanied by a thin man on a bicycle.
The occupant of the house arrived home as the burglary was taking place, parked across the road and waited for police.
The occupant then saw the intruder get picked up by a taxi.
On Monday 2 June a male intruder broke into another Pound Road property and stole headphones, a computer, drill, shaver and food.
Investigators believe that the offender is the same in both incidents and have released CCTV footage of the man.
Anyone with information about the incident or anyone who believes they can assist with identifying the person involved, is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Greer Goldsmith at the Casey CIU on 9705 3111.
