STUDENTS could be seen strutting their stuff last week at a special fundraising fashion parade in Endeavour Hills.
Gleneagles Secondary College’s Friendship Fashion Parade was co-ordinated by the year nine student leadership group which delivered a spectacular show for all who gathered to watch it last Monday night.
More than $2500 was raised on the night for Gleneagles’ Friendship School in East Timor, with the initiative wholeheartedly supported by the Friends of Ermera and its outgoing president Jan Trezise.
Sponsors on the night included Westfield and LJ Hooker, while clothes were supplied by Harry’s Clothing in Berwick, Purple Pumpkin in Fountain Gate, and Noni B and Crossroads in Endeavour Hills.
The fashion parade stage was showered in lighting from VCE students Tim Riley and Craig Barry, while children from Thomas Mitchell Primary School also got involved with the event.
