THIEVES have been targeting the wheels of Holden cars with a spate of thefts in the Cranbourne area in the past two weeks.
Police said there have been seven reports of all four wheels being stolen from Holden cars in just two weeks around the Brookland Greens and Settlers Run estates.
In each instance, except when disturbed, the offenders have stolen wheels from Holdens parked on nature strips and driveways then left the cars jacked up on bricks.
Thieves have mostly targeted Commodores, but other Holden models have also had their wheels stolen.
Police urged anyone with a Holden in the area to try and keep it out of sight when they’re at home, whether it is in a garage or behind another car.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Casey Crime Investigation Unit on 9705 3111.
