MARAMBA Primary School is having a makeover.
A group of visual arts students are currently hard at work creating murals to improve the serenity around the grade 4 and 5 portable buildings.
And the students from the Narre Warren school were ecstatic last week after employers from Bunnings dropped by to donate plywood and paint for the mural project.
“The students worked together to paint vibrant and creative action figures, designed by the students,” teacher Christine Locke said.
“Many thanks to Bunnings in Narre Warren for donating the plywood and paint.
“The students have really enjoyed working together with our local community.”
In addition, the grade 2 students have recently been working with Stockdale and Leggo Real Estate in Narre Warren to create their own pieces of artwork, and to help promote the school.
