THE Cranbourne Homemaker Centre added to the excitement of its planned expansion last month.
The centre announced that it now has a new name – Cranbourne Home – and a new look branding in August.
The rebranding comes as the centre prepares to start a $40 million expansion with works to start on Wednesday 17 September.
Centre manager Kate Parkinson said it was decided to rebrand the centre to better reflect its retail offering.
“As Cranbourne Home has grown and developed over the last 14 years, the tenancy mix has shifted from a homemaker centre focus to a mixed use leisure retail offering,” she said.
“The rebrand to Cranbourne Home now more accurately reflects the nature of our strong mix of retailers and indicates to customers that Cranbourne Home is a desirable shopping destination with an abundance of choice.
“The heart symbol expresses what is important to us all – loving your home.”
The centre is owned by BB Retail Capital which is a specialist manager of large-format retail centres across Australia.
The business purchased the former Cranbourne Homemaker Centre in 2004 and since then has doubled the size of the centre with the addition of JB Hi Fi Home and The Good Guys.
A further expansion of the centre is almost ready to commence in late September and will be anchored by Masters and five new retailers.
