POLICE are looking for a man who indecently assaulted a woman in Doveton on the weekend.
It’s understood the 18-year-old woman was walking along the Dandenong Creek Walking Trail, near Box Street, when she was indecently assaulted by the man around 2.30pm on Saturday 6 September.
The woman managed to push the man away and flee the scene.
Detectives from the Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are investigating the incident.
It’s believed the offender is Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in his twenties and has dark hair. At the time he was wearing a blue T-shirt with a yellow number, faded blue jeans and old white runners.
Investigators have released an image of the man who they believe may be able to help them with their inquiries.
