POLICE are still calling for any information that may help them piece together the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body at the Hallam Road Landfill earlier this month.
Police were called to the Hampton Park facility after a machinery operator discovered the man’s body about 8am on Tuesday 9 September.
Casey CIU detectives are asking anyone who may have information about the man’s movements prior to the discovery of his body to come forward.
Victoria Police previously reported the man was a 34-year-old from Endeavour Hills, but detectives now say he was 25 years old.
It’s believed the man was last seen walking along Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road in Narre Warren just before midnight on Monday 8 September.
He was last seen wearing a white tracksuit top and blue shorts.
