Witnesses sought to pedestrian death

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Endeavour Hills on Sunday.
It’s understood the male pedestrian was crossing Heatherton Road near Matthew Flinders Avenue, about 3.45pm, when he was hit by a Holden Commodore travelling eastbound.
Emergency services were called to the incident but the pedestrian, believed to be in his thirties, died at the scene.
The driver of the Commodore, a man from Endeavour Hills, has assisted police with their inquiries.
