Midweek Pennant commenced on a good note on Tuesday with both divisions winning.
Division 1 at home had a 49-shot win over Vermont South with all three rinks having good wins –
S. Bell, W. Stevenson, J. Naughton, I. Brotherton 23/10. T. Henneman, K. Mark, R. Lane, E. Gibb 30/7. C. Lapham, W. Harringsma, E. Sydenham, J. Millar 25/12.
Division 3 played at Keysborough and with two wins and a tied rink ultimately ran out winners 55/46 – L. O’Brien, P. Pater, N. Pugh, A. Tobler 18/11. H. McCarthy, J. Moran, S. Vanmaanen, G. Gilchrist 19/17.
Saturday Pennant commences this Saturday 4 October.
