Red Cross marks milestone

IT WAS time to celebrate a very special birthday.
Last Thursday the Narre Warren North Red Cross celebrated its 75th Birthday at the guide hall in Narre Warren North, attended by several neighbouring Red Cross branches.
Member Sue Elliot was awarded her 10th year medallion, and was commended for her decade of hard work.
Casey deputy mayor Amanda Stapledon, who attended the anniversary celebrations with Cr Rosalie Crestani, commended the group for their years of service.
“The Narre Warren North Red Cross is a strong and hard working group of people who have served the community so well over the past 75 years,” she said.
“Here’s to another 75 years and beyond.”
