Time comes to talk

SOMETIMES that one topic many people push to the back of their mind is the one that needs to be discussed.
On Monday 13 October, the time has come to shine a light on this topic.
Members from the Council for the Ageing (COTA) will facilitate a talk about what matters most as people approach the end of their lives, in a Dying to Talk discussion.
Former Senior Citizen of Casey John Doutch and volunteer with COTA has urged senior community members to come along and be part of the conversation.
Ms Doutch looks after men’s discussion groups in the City of Casey and is the moderator of the Dying to Talk discussion.
This seminar will be held on Monday 13 October and will include a panel of guest speakers including Dr Grant Davies from Acting Health Services.
The talk will take place at the City of Casey Council Chambers in Narre Warren, with registrations taken from 9am.
It will run from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
People can ask their most pressing questions about death and discuss their wishes for end-of-life care.
To book visit dyingtotalkcasey13oct.eventbrite.com.au.
