BERWICK Costume hire is a family-run business, owned by a mother and daughter.
The shop was established in 2008 and bought by Cheryl and Natascha in 2010.
Cheryl previously a receptionist and Natascha a kindergarten teacher decided it was time to try something new.
Cheryl’s keen interest in sewing is a huge advantage in the costume business with constant repairs, on-the-spot alterations and her creative flair shining through in the many outfits she makes.
Like many small businesses, Berwick Costume Hire has felt the brunt of the financial crisis and online sales. The business has had to adapt to meet these challenges, offering very competitive prices and also a range of new costumes and accessories for sale.
