POLICE are investigating an armed robbery in which a man has alleged to have been threatened with a screwdriver and had his phone stolen outside Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
It’s believed the two male offenders approached the victim inside the shopping centre around 5pm on Friday 17 October, before asking him to leave the shopping centre with them.
Outside the centre one of the attackers is deemed to have produced a screwdriver and demanded the victim’s phone, before both offenders fled the scene.
It’s believed the attackers were known to the victim.
