Berwick bound

THE Riding of the Bounds is part of a 500-year-long celebration which involves local residents riding on horseback around Berwick-upon-Tweed, UK, in a traditional ceremony to protect its borders.
Celebrating 25 years of this historic event in Berwick, Victoria, the 2014 Riding of the Bounds will be held on Sunday 26 October at Hillcrest Christian College in Clyde North.
This year’s horse-riding course is approximately 12 kilometres and will take about two and a half hours to complete.
Check in on the day will open at 8.30am and the ride will commence at 10.30am.
