Fountain springs to life

THERE’S a fresh spring feeling at the Fountain Gate Hotel with a new management team, new staff, new head chef and new activities.
Venue manager Sandy Chambers said there was a new team of fresh faces, friendly and eager to please.
Among the new things happening at the hotel was the After Friday Night Work Drinks drink specials from 6pm to 9pm.
Sandy, who has 17 plus years in the hospitality industry from working in restaurants to Whitsunday Islands resorts and pubs, said the aim of the new team was to “provide friendly service and make customers feel welcome and wanting to come back”.
“We have a function room, friendly service and a great bistro with a fun, energetic, positive vibe,” she said.
“We also offer weekly and monthly food and drink specials, seniors day out, Friday night entertainment and $4 Crownies and Mishkas.
“Like us on Facebook and look out for the weekly offers, vouchers and giveaways,” she said.
The hotel offers a bistro, Functions Lounge Bar, TAB, Keno and gaming.
And for those who are looking for the perfect place for a forthcoming function – Christmas bookings are currently being taken.
Fountain Gate Hotel is open 8am to 4am at 1124 Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
