Saturday’s Division-2 side playing away to Clayton continued their winning run, remain undefeated with four wins. A gutsy performance with two rinks going down they came away winners by two shots 85-83.

Also on a winning streak, Saturday’s Division-3 side playing at home to Glen Waverley, made it three from four. In another close encounter they held on to win by just three shots 82-79 after giving up a handy lead following the break with two rinks up and two down – an exciting finish.

Division 7 played Waverley Golf at home and had a comfortable, confidence boosting day with a 42-shot win 97-55. A good effort by the team with all four rinks winning, following the huge loss suffered last week.

Division 8 playing at Noble Park, with a number of changes in the side, still managed to perform with a very good 45-29 winning effort – both rinks winning.

Tuesday Division 1 played at Mulgrave and had a rough day with all three rinks going down against a very strong side – finding themselves playing catch-up all day and going down by 21 shots.
Results: S. Bell/J. Naughton/W. Stevenson/I. Brotherton 18-20. G. Gilchrist/W. Haringsma/E. Sydenham/J. Millar 11-25. T. Henneman/K. Mark/E. Gibb/I. Stevenson 18-23.
Division 3 continued on with their good form and are undefeated after the first five rounds with an 11-shot win against Clayton at home. With all rinks winning and scores close all day the rink of Sep Van Maanen, Pam Uren, Carl Lapham, and Ray Pigdon dropped five shots on the penultimate end to lose the lead but replied with three shots on the last end to win 21-20.
