Drugs haul

CASEY CIU has seized $1 million worth of illicit drugs following an investigation into a drug trafficking operation with links to the municipality.
The seizure comes after warrants were executed at a property in Moores Road, Clyde, as well as a property in East Boundary Road, East Bentleigh.
A 28-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were arrested and charged with a number of drug related offences.
It’s understood police are also looking into restraining assets and properties as part of the investigation.
