CARDINIA BEACONHILLS GOLF

CARDINIA Beaconhills Monthly Medal stroke event was played on Saturday with Trevor Ball (9) taking out the A Grade with a nett score of 69.
Playing off a handicap of 22, Jack Weir returned the best score in the B Grade with 71 nett.
Trevor Ball and David Brook will play off for the November medal next month.
15-year-old Patrick Coughlin (16) was the winner of Sunday’s Par event with a score of +7.
MIDWEEK
IN Tuesday’s stableford event John Diemen (21) return the best score of the day with an impressive 43 points to runner-up George Grant (23) with 40 points on a count-back.
In Thursday’s stoke event 75 players competed but it was Terry Geddes (13) who won the A Grade with 65 nett while Ted Fleming (30) won the B Grade with 62 nett.
LADIES
The Grandmother’s Challenge stableford event was held on Thursday with Kerri Greig (18) winning the Grandmother’s Trophy after returning the best score of 36 stableford points. Sharon Lowden (31) won the Challenger’s trophy with 38 stableford points.
Two Cardinia Beaconhills teams made it into the grand final of the PDGA 2014 Midweek Cup which was held on Friday 31 October at Rosebud Country Club. Congratulations go to Cardinia Beaconhills Team 2 who defeated Team 1 – 4.5 games to 2.5 games.
