Great produce up for grabs

CAPTION FOR PIC:
Mel Pursell and her beautifully displayed stall.

THE weather is warming, the produce is abundant and the grounds of the Old Cheese Factory at 34 Homestead Road, Berwick, are looking picture perfect.
Take time to view the beautifully packaged items Mel Pursell has on display at her stall, Pursell’s Provisions.
All products are handmade by Mel, a qualified chef for 18 years.
Her products make great gift ideas including cranberry, port and orange sauce for ham, turkey, chicken, pork and soft cheeses.
Apple and mint jelly for roasted lamb or pork, or try it stirred through peas and carrots. Mango chutney to accompany roasted ham, pork and barbecued meats. Quince conserve and quince jelly for cheese platters.
Do not forget to ask Mel for a taste . . . you will not be disappointed.
The November market welcomes the return of the much-anticipated cherry season. No one can resist the beautiful colour of this plump, succulent fruit. Enjoy individually or with a superb platter of your favourite cheese.
Take a coffee break and enjoy the sumptuous barbecue breakfast from the girls and boys of the Rotary Club of Berwick.
The November market will be held on Saturday 22 November from 8am to 12.30pm, at the Old Cheese Factory, Berwick.
Remember, that the Twilight Christmas Market will be held on Tuesday 23 December, from 4pm to 8pm, with gifts for the kids and a visit by Santa.
