THE Coalition has pledged $2000 to the Endeavour Hills Junior Football Club for new security doors.
Crime Prevention Minister Edward O’Donohue was joined by the Liberal candidate for Narre Warren North Amanda Stapledon to make the announcement last Friday, which will see $2000 committed to the football club for the installation of new security doors.
Ms Stapledon said the club had had several break-ins in recent times and the funding would go towards extra security measures to deter thieves.
Mr O’Donohue commended Ms Stapledon for pushing to have the funding provided to the club.
“Amanda Stapledon has been working hard to make sure that this project becomes a reality for the Endeavour Hills Junior Football Club,” Mr O’Donohue said.
“Amanda is passionate about making the Narre Warren North electorate an even better place to live and raise a family.”
The News asked a spokesperson for Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan whether Labor would match the Coalition’s funding commitment to the Endeavour Hills Junior Football Club, but the spokesperson said Mr Donnellan was unavailable for comment.
