THE State Opposition has this week pledged three separate road upgrades in Casey if successful at the 29 November State Elections.
Labor on Monday promised to upgrade the noise walls around Eumemmering Creek, the Narre Warren North Road between Belgrave-Hallam and Heatherton roads and install turning arrows on both sides of the Princes Highway at the Fitzgerald Road and Hinrichsen Drive intersection.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan was joined by the Labor candidate for the South Eastern Metropolitan Region Ian Spencer to announce the plan.
In keeping with the promise, Labor’s upgrade to Belgrave-Hallam Road would see roundabouts set up at the intersection of Fox and Belgrave-Hallam roads.
“We’ll make Narre Warren North Road safer for locals, with two new roundabouts at dangerous and congested intersections to improve access to sports clubs and churches,” Mr Donnellan said.
“With Labor’s new noise walls along the Monash Freeway, families in Endeavour Hills can enjoy a bit more peace and quiet.’’
