Men on robbery charges

TWO men have been arrested in relation to a terrifying Doveton house robbery earlier this year.
A 26-year-old male from Doveton and an 18-year-old male from Pakenham were charged and released on bail this month following a police investigation into the Matipo Street robbery in September, in which the occupants were allegedly tied up with cable ties and threatened at knife point by three raiders.
It’s believed eight plasma TVs, two cars, wallets, cash and mobile phones were stolen during the robbery.
One of the stolen cars has been found, while the second – a 2001 silver Holden sedan – is still missing.
The two men were charged with aggravated burglary, numerous assaults and theft of cars, and were bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court next month
