WORKSAFE will investigate the death of a man who fell through a roof in Lysterfield last month.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner after the 58-year-old man from Melton died in hospital only hours after falling through the roof on Friday 21 November.
Belgrave Sergeant Jo Hayden said the man was repairing the roof at Montague Cold Storage in Lysterfield when he fell roughly 15 metres to the ground.
It’s understood the man was working on an air conditioner on the roof when he fell through the skylight.
A spokesperson for the Victorian Workcover Authority (VWA) confirmed it was investigating the incident.
