Foretaste of high school

By BRIDGET SCOTT

FUTURE students to Casey Grammar got a taste of secondary school last week when around 90 pupils turned out for orientation day.
Year 7 co-ordinator Kate Morgan said students from about 30 different schools came along, in addition to those who were in Grade 6 at the Cranbourne East school.
Students made their way around the school for the day and met their future classmates.
“Students took the opportunity to make friends, meet new teachers and find their way around the school,” Mr Morgan said.
“A highlight for many students was when they were given a combination lock to take home and practise over the holidays.”
