Spirits high for Super Bowl

SUPER Bowl fever hit Fountain Gate this week when players from the Berwick Miners and Diamonds teams held a party to watch America’s biggest sporting event.
New England faced off against Seattle in a game for the ages, with the Patriots coming from behind in the last quarter to prevail by just four points.
Men from the Berwick Miners gridiron team and women from the Berwick Diamonds team were on the edge of their seats at TGI Fridays in Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, watching the game over a few burgers washed down with some American lagers.
News photographer Stewart Chambers stopped by the party on Tuesday to take photos of all the action.
