Chef gives away secrets

FORMER chef and food critic Matthew Evans will share his knowledge and experience with guests to the first Casey-Cardinia business Breakfast for the year.
Now a Tasmanian smallholder, the man behind SBS Gourmet Farmer, now in its third season, will talk about how his strong passion for real food where the provenance is known and the producer valued, has encouraged him and become his real success.
The author of nine books will also discuss his other project, A Common Ground, which is a Tasmanian food-store that specialises in regional produce events.
The breakfast will run from 7am until 9am on Wednesday 11 March at the Cranbourne Racing Club, Grant Street, Cranbourne.
Tickets are $55 per person, or $700 for a table sponsorship. This includes tea and coffee upon arrival and a full breakfast.
